Our care homes retain the warmth and charm of a family home. We support our staff, residents and their families to build close relationships that bring fun, comfort and enjoyment to daily life. We have deliberately avoided larger care sites and institutions so residents quickly become part of the family; we get to know each person well and really understand their individual care needs from day to day.
We encourage our residents to be active members of our community, and we plan our calendar of ‘living well’ events and activities to suit residents’ interests, and support them to get involved. Eating well is an integral aspect of our approach to ocare and we put good company, participation and nutrition at the heart of mealtimes.
Our teams are made up of highly skilled staff, qualified nurses, mental health nurses, and carers. We work closely with local GPs who provide medical advice and support to our residents and staff.
We understand that caring for relatives at home, or worrying about them managing on their own can be hard for families, but the decision to find them a care home can also be a difficult choice. We work closely with residents and their families to make the move as easy as possible.
